Lagos State Government permits full reopening of churches and mosques , includes week day services

Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has approved full resumption of service for churches and mosques.

He said mosques can hold their prayers five times daily while churches can also commence week day services.

Worship centres were restricted to one gathering weekly after they were allowed to reopen following lockdown to check coronavirus in the nation.

The Governor also announced that public and private schools can resume fully on Monday, September 21, 2020.

The Governor however, warned that the safety protocols released by the government must be strictly adhered to.
